Actor Unni Mukundan, who is currently basking in the success of his Malayalam film Marco, lost his cool at a fan while promoting his upcoming film, Get-Set Baby. A video that has now gone viral shows the actor snatching the fan's phone after the latter got too close while recording him.

The video of the incident is now splashed all over the internet. Mukundan can be seen walking inside a theatre to promote his film Get-Set Baby, during which a fan went close to the actor while recording him on his mobile phone.

While the actor tried to ignore it at first, the fan refused to budge, and it irked Mukundan. He was seen suddenly snatching the fan's phone and keeping it in his pocket while continuing to walk. The fan seemingly thought it was a joke and continued to follow him, but his smile faded when the Marco actor gave him a death stare, and he realised that the actor was indeed upset.

Mukundan's reaction left the internet divided, and while some felt that the actor was rude, others slammed the fan for invading the actor's personal space. "During the budding stage you encourage them and now you get irritated when the same fans approach you (sic)," a user wrote on X.

"Well done… he didn’t even resist while unni felt uncomfortable filming him (sic)," another user wrote.

Mukundan's previous film Marco shattered all records at the box office and became one of the highest grossing films of the Malayalam industry. It released in theatres on December 20, 2024, and was touted to be "India's most violent film", laced with copious amounts of blood, gore and action.
