Legendary actor and director Manoj Kumar, who passed away on April 4, was cremated with full state honours on Saturday (April 5) in Mumbai. Family members and close friends gathered at his residence to bid a heartfelt farewell to 'Bharat Kumar' of Indian cinema.

The Padma Shri awardee was accorded a dignified tribute, honouring the remarkable legacy he leaves behind. His coffin was draped in the Indian tricolour - a poignant symbol of his lifelong association with patriotic storytelling on screen.

The ambulance carrying his mortal remains was adorned with garlands and tricolour-themed floral arrangements, reflecting the nationalist spirit that defined much of his cinematic work.

His wife Shashi Goswami, son Kunal Goswami, and other close family members were present during the ceremonial state honours, paying their final respects to the actor.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his actor-son Abhishek Bachchan were seen at the crematorium ground in Juhu.

In one of the videos, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan is also seen at the crematorium ground with his son Arbaaz Khan.

The legendary actor passed away in Mumbai on the wee hours of Friday (April 4), leaving the entire nation devastated and heartbroken. He was 87.

Manoj Kumar breathed his last at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on February 21 after his health deteriorated, and after over a month-long battle, he succumbed on Friday.

As per reports, Kumar died due to a massive heart attack. He had also been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis in recent months, which aggravated his poor health condition.

Some of Manoj Kumar's best films invlude Shaheed (1965), Upkar (1967), Purab Aur Paschim (1970) and Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974), many of which he also directed. His performance in Upkar solidified his patriotic image, leading to his famous nickname.

Beyond his patriotic films, he starred in several other acclaimed movies, including Hariyali Aur Raasta, Woh Kaun Thi, Himalaya Ki God Mein, Do Badan, Patthar Ke Sanam, Neel Kamal and Kranti.
