Rajkummar Rao is undoubtedly one of the best actors we have in Bollywood. The actor has starred in multiple genres of movies, but he has not featured in a masala action entertainer. Now, with his new movie, Maalik, he is entering a different zone, and on Tuesday, the makers launched the trailer of the movie at an event in Mumbai.
Well, the trailer is strictly average, and it looks like a run-of-the-mill gangster-political drama. However, Rajkummar Rao’s performance in the trailer surely impresses.

The trailer of Maalik has received mixed reviews from netizens. While some have loved it, some feel that the movie is similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees.

Maalik Release Date
Maalik was slated to release on June 20, 2025. But, to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, the movie was postponed. The film will now hit the big screens on July 11, 2025.
However, right now also the film won't be getting a solo release. It will clash with Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor starrer Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. So, let's wait and watch who will win this box office clash. Will the audience prefer to watch an action film or a romantic movie?
