Television actress Pooja Banerjee has announced her second pregnancy with husband, swimmer Sandeep Sejwal. The actress, who welcomed her first baby, daughter Sana, in 2022, shared new photos on her social media handle on Friday, proudly flaunting her baby bump. She captioned the photos, "@sanassejwaal is going to be a BIG SISTER soon…" adding several evil eye emojis.
The actress shared that she and her husband had always wished for two children and are now overjoyed. She told ETimes that, just like during her first pregnancy, she remains relaxed this time as well and does not stress over unnecessary things.
"One thing that is different this time is that Sandeep is able to spend more time with me. He has been a great support," she added.

Pooja stated that she wants to spend time with her kids and cherish this special phase with them. Talking about her first child, the Kumkum Bhagya actress shared that her daughter is a sweet and understanding child who knows she will soon have a sibling. At times, she even takes care of her mother by asking if she needs water or food.
"I am in a great space currently and spending this time meditating, swimming and doing things I like. During my first pregnancy, I was working till I was due, but this time, I decided to take it easy," added the actress.
Pooja, who was last seen as Pihu Kapoor in the television show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 in 2023, revealed that she was offered some projects but chose not to take them up after learning about her second pregnancy.
The actress revealed that she has no plans to return to acting for at least a year, as she wants her kids to grow a little before resuming work.
