The legendary actress Sridevi starred in the 1990 Telugu film Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, which was re-released in theaters on May 9, 2025, to mark its 35th anniversary. The late actress' daughter, actress Janhvi Kapoor, watched the film and paid a heartfelt tribute by wearing a stylish denim jacket featuring Sridevi’s face, symbolising her love.
Sharing the photos, Janhvi took to her Instagram handle to praise her mother’s acting skills and legacy. She wrote, "Obsessed with this jacket!!!! Obsessssssssed with this movie!!!! I had the pleasure of rewatching the rereleased print a couple days back and was reminded of the magic created by the whole team. Mumma is like an angel fairy princess and so funny and so cute."
