After nearly three years, the global queens of K-pop are officially gearing up for a long-awaited reunion, and it's coming with both a world tour and brand-new songs. BLACKPINK's Lisa has just confirmed what fans worldwide have been hoping to hear: the group is back in the studio and preparing to drop a new album. The news arrives as anticipation builds for their massive fourth global concert tour starting this July.
In an exclusive interview with Variety, Lisa revealed that all four BLACKPINK members, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and herself, have recently come together again in the recording studio. "Actually, we were in the studio just a few days ago," Lisa shared.
"We’re all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the Blinks. We can't wait to see them," she said, referring to their global fandom.

The Thai rapper-dancer also offered a hopeful message for fans who’ve been waiting patiently for the group's return. "You have to be patient about it," she affirmed with a smile. "It’s coming soon, I promise. It’s about time."
While their label, YG Entertainment, has yet to officially announce an album release date, Lisa's confirmation has sent the internet into a frenzy. The last time BLACKPINK released a full group album was 'Born Pink' in 2022, which dominated the music charts worldwide.

Since then, the members have each explored successful solo paths where each member has released their own full-length album. Some have even debuted as actresses and made waves at the world's biggest events, including the Oscars, Coachella and more. But despite their solo achievements, fans have been longing for a group comeback.
And now, that wait is finally coming to an end.

BLACKPINK's 2025 World Tour
In addition to new music, BLACKPINK is also back with their world tour starting July 5 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. The tour will span six months and hit major international cities including Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, and more. The grand finale is slated for January 18, 2026, at the iconic Tokyo Dome in Japan.
So, Blinks, get ready. The comeback era has officially begun.
