A few days ago, CBI filed a closure report in Sushant Singh Rajput's case and reportedly they stated that there was no foul play and it was a case of suicide. Now, Zee owner and former Rajya Sabha MP, Subhash Chandra, took to X (Twitter) to apologize to Rhea Chakraborty as he feels that she was made an accused by the media.
Chandra wrote, "In Sushant Rajput murder case, CBI has filed closure report. I believe it is due to lack of credible evidence. No scope for ambiguity, hence it means no case is made out. In retrospect I feel that Rhea Chakarborty was made out an accused by media, led by Zee News through it’s editor & reporters (at that time) (sic)."
He further wrote, "Others followed Zee News. As mentor of Zee News, advise them to be brave and apologize. I do apologize to Rhea, even with no involvement of mine. I am like ‘एक मुख रुद्राक्ष’ बाहर और अंदर एक समान। Call spade a spade. Subhash. (sic)."
For the uninitiated, Chandra is the founder of Zee TV. He started the channel in 1992. He is also a former Rajya Sabha MP, and on social media, always shares his views about what's happening in the country.
Sushant Singh Rajput's Death
Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in June 2020. He was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room. While the cops had stated that he died due to suicide, later the case was given to CBI. Now, after nearly five years of his demise, CBI has filed the closure report.
Fans of Sushant miss him a lot. The actor's last film was Dil Bechara which was released on Disney+ Hotstar for free.
