Popular Pakistani TikToker Sajal Malik made headlines recently after her private video, showing her in a compromising position, got leaked online. She was subjected to brutal criticism and hate after the alleged MMS leak, but she has now clarified that the video was fake.
Speaking to Pakistani media, Malik urged people to not share the video attaching her name to it, and said that it has been "haunting" her. "The obscene videos circulating online are not mine. These fake clips are haunting me mentally. I appeal to the media not to link these fake videos with my name and to check facts before publishing such harmful news," she said.
She went on to say that she has lodged a formal complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) regarding the 'defamatory' video and asked the authorities to investigate the truth behind the scandal.
"I haven’t done anything wrong, so why should I defend something I haven’t even done?" Sajal asked.

Sajal also alleged that the MMS scandal is part of a plot to tarnish her image and reputation in the country. "This is a deliberate move to damage my reputation," she said. She then requested the public to stop sharing the video and break the chain, and to also verify the truth before targetting her online.
After the intimate video, allegedly featuring Sajal, got leaked online, some netizens also wondered if it was a well-thought move to grab eyeballs and gain more followers on TikTok and other social media platforms.

Sajal is not the first actress to fall prey to the MMS leak scandal in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Earlier, Imsha Rehman, Minahil Malik and others made headlines due to similar reasons.
Some of them even claimed that the video were made using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to harm their reputation.
