Farah Khan recently joked about Udit Narayan's kiss controversy while chatting with former tennis player Sania Mirza, her BFF. The director, hosts her own YouTube cooking show, Farah Ki Dawat, where she invites celebrities to her home to prepare special recipes. In a recent episode, she welcomed Sania and her 6-year-old son, Izhaan Mirza Malik.
Towards the end of the episode, Farah playfully asked Sania's son for a kiss, teasing, "First, you have to give me a kiss, you know that." Sania joined in, suggesting, "Or give a hug." Moments later, Farah jokingly added, "Come on, do a Udit ji on me!"—a remark that left Sania in splits.

It all started after a video went viral, showing Udit kissing his female fans on the lips as they approached him for selfies during his live performance.
The video was shared on social media and Udit was slammed largely for his "indecent" behaviour. The singer was performing Tip Tip Barsa Pani from Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon's Mohra.

After the video of Udit kissing his female fans went viral, the singer stated that he is not ashamed about it and instead calls it a "manifestation of love between him and his fans."
Further, Udit told Bollywood Hungama that it is not something "sleazy or secret," as the video is in the public domain, and he believes his heart is pure. "If some people want to see something dirty in my act of pure affection, then I feel sorry for them. I also want to thank them," he added.
