OTT has surely opened doors for storytellers to try out new things and give unique content to the audience. A few years ago, who would have thought to make a movie about women running a drug mafia? However, now with OTT, things have changed. In 2023, Disney+ Hotstar came up with a show titled Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo which starred Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar, and Angira Dhar in the lead role. The show was set in Rajasthan, and was about these women who operate drug cartel.
Now, Netflix is coming with a show titled Dabba Cartel, which is also about drug mafia. The show features Shabana Azmi, Jyotika, Shalini Pandey, Anjali Anand, and Nimisha Sajayan, and today, the OTT platform has unveiled the trailer of the series.

Dabba Cartel is about a few women running a drug mafia, but common people see them as women who just have business of tiffin service. The trailer is good, and what impresses us a lot that the casting is simply wonderful. From Bollywood to Television to South, makers have got some of the best talents from this industries.
All the actors are fantastic in the trailer, but of course, Shabana Azmi and Jyotika steal the show. Of course, when you watch the trailer it will remind you of Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, but this one is set in Mumbai, so the backdrop of the story and the business show is quite different.
While the trailer of Dabba Cartel has grabbed our attention, it will be interesting how the show will turn out to be. It is slated to premiere on Netflix on February 28, 2025.

Last year, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi was premiered on Netflix and it also featured actresses as leads. The show had received a fantastic response, so, the expectations from Dabba Cartel are also quite high.
