Coldplay paid tribute to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at 76, by performing Black Sabbath's Changes during their Nashville concert. Chris Martin said, "We'd like to dedicate this whole show to the incredible genius... Ozzy Osbourne. We send our love to his family… Ozzy, we love you, wherever you're going." John Michael 'Ozzy' Osbourne, the lead singer of the British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. This shocking news came just two weeks after he performed at what was billed as Black Sabbath's final concert, a festival titled Back to the Beginning, held in Birmingham, England, the hometown of both Ozzy and the band.

Coldplay's Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne

As a tribute, Coldplay honoured Ozzy Osbourne by performing Changes, a popular song by Black Sabbath.

A fan shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) where Chris Martin was heard performing on Changes during soundcheck their concert in Nashville last night following the musician’s death. According to People, Chris said, "We'd like to dedicate this whole show to the incredible genius, talent, and character called gift to the world who was Ozzy Osbourne. We send our love to his family."

Statement By Ozzy Osbourne's Family

In an official statement, his family mentioned, "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

In January 2020, following two years of escalating health problems, Osbourne announced that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Osbourne is survived by his wife Sharon and six children.
