Chhaava has taken the box office by storm. The Vicky Kaushal starrer was expected to do well at the ticket windows, but the response has been surely much better than the expectations. The movie on its day 1 collected Rs. 31 crore, on second day the film minted Rs. 37 crore, and on third day, it showed an excellent jump, and collected Rs. 48.50 crore, taking the first weekend total to Rs. 116.50 crore.
After a good weekend, usually, films do show a huge drop on Monday. Chhaava also showed a drop, but even on its fourth day, the movie has collected more than the expectations. According to sacnilk, Chhaava minted Rs. 24 crore yesterday which is excellent. The film has collected Rs. 140.50 crore in four days.

Reportedly, Chhaava is made on a budget of Rs. 130 crore, so, in just four days, the movie has collected more than its budget which is fantastic. It will easily cross the Rs. 150 crore mark by today (Tuesday), and by the end of the week 1, Chhaava will easily reach the Rs. 200 crore.
Vicky's highest grosser till date has been Uri: The Surgical Strike. The film had minted Rs. 245.36 crore and it was a blockbuster at the box office. It is expected that Chhaava will surpass Uri's collection, and if it continues to be stable at the box office during its second weekend, then the lifetime collection can easily be more than Rs. 300 crore.
There are no major releases in the next few weeks, until Sikandar releases. There are some small movies like Mere Husband Ki Biwi, The Diplomat, and others slated to release in between, but till now, none of them have created a great pre-release buzz. So, the Chhaava has a huge window to collect at the box office.
