Actress Nikki Tamboli, who is currently seen on Celebrity MasterChef India, will be seen breaking down in tears after speaking to her father in the latest promo. She recently opened up about her troubled relationship with him, revealing that he initially disapproved of her career choices, which strained their bond after she decided to enter the industry.
The promo begins with Nikki informing judges Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna that she will be cooking her father's Chicken Ghee Roast recipe. When Khanna asked her why she chose this dish, Nikki revealed that it holds a special place in her heart as it was often made at home during big wins or special occasions. After the task, Nikki presented her dish to the judges, and Brar asked her to bring her phone and call her father.
Nikki looked hesitant and stated that she didn’t think he would answer her call due to the differences between them. Despite this, Ranveer went ahead and dialed Tamboli's father.

As soon as Nikki's father answered her call, she became emotional. Ranveer informed him about the dish she had cooked and praised her performance on Celebrity MasterChef. He also mentioned that Nikki had saved his name as 'Daddy' with a big red heart next to it.
Further, in a heartfelt moment, Nikki's father told her, "I love you, Nikki," which made her emotional and brought her to tears. She responded, "I love you too, Papa." Vikas then told Nikki, "You are so lucky. I would pay a billion dollars just to hear my dad speak again."
Celebrity MasterChef airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM.
