Balika Vadhu Fame Avika Gor To Make TV Comeback With Ektaa Kapoor's Naagin 7 After Seven Years? Actress Breaks Silence

Avika Gor, known for playing Anandi in Balika Vadhu, was rumoured to return to TV after seven years with Ektaa Kapoor's Naagin 7. Reacting to the speculation, the 27-year-old actress wrote on Instagram, "Is it? Why don't I know about this?" Her last show was Laado: Veerpur Ki Mardani in 2018.

Avika Gor, who gained recognition for her role as Anandi Singh in the hit television serial Balika Vadhu, is reportedly set to make her television comeback after seven years. According to several reports, the 27-year-old actress will star in Ektaa Kapoor's Naagin 7, a supernatural fiction television show about shape-shifting serpents.

Reacting to the rumours, Avika addressed the speculation on her Instagram story, writing, "Is it? Why don't I know about this?"

In February 2025, Ektaa Kapoor announced Naagin 7. She shared a video on her Instagram account, where she was seen sitting with her team in the office and discussing the upcoming season of Naagin. The producer shows her team member's face and says, "Whoever wants to know where Naagin is, that's the girl." When asked, her team member quipped, "Naagin is on chotiyo ke peeche, parvat ke niche."

Kapoor added, "Time to create sarva sarva, very very shresth, super shresth, Naagin." Deciding the theme/slogan for the new season, the filmmaker continued, "Sarva, super shresth, param shresth, aadi, super aadi, Naagin."

She shared, "I'm trying to create this one because now I have done every kind of super shresth, aadi pati, aur kinds of Naagins. Now we need to create something, sarva sarva shresth."

Naagin 6 aired on February 12, 2022, and went off the air on July 9, 2023. The show starred Tejasswi Prakash in the lead, alongside Simba Nagpal, Mahek Chahal, and Shrey Mittal, among others.
