Controversial actress Poonam Pandey has come out in support of YouTuber and entrepreneur Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps), who has been facing backlash over his role as a panelist on comedian Samay Raina's India’s Got Latent. During one of the latest episodes, which has now been removed from YouTube, Ranveer asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever."

Ever since his videos surfaced, he has been at the centre of controversy and despite issuing an apology, several complaints have been filed against the 31-year-old YouTuber.

Now, Poonam has come out in support of Ranveer and urged people to forgive him for his indecent comment.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Poonam requested people to stop the excessive trolling. "Been reading so much about @BeerBicepsGuy… Bas karo yaar, galti ho gayi usse… bacche ki jaan loge? Maaf kardo yaar."

It may be mentioned that Poonam had also appeared as a guest on one of the episodes of the show.

Her post has sparked mixed reactions online, with some netizens agreeing that the trolling has gone too far, while others argue that accountability should not be dismissed so easily. A section of social media users also trolled her for faking her own death and stated that she should also be in 'jail'.

"Criticism is fair, but endless bashing helps no one. Everyone makes mistakes - learning and growing from them is what truly matters. #MoveOn," commented a user under Poonam's post.

"Look who's supporting him ... People who have same mindset often support their so called FRIENDS," read another comment.

On February 10, Ranveer issued an apology amid severe backlash he has been receiving over his crass remarks on the show. Calling it a 'lapse in judgement', Ranveer pleaded people to forgive him and also assured that the sections with the controversial remarks have been removed from the full video.

The controversial episode, featuring Ranveer and Apoorva Makhija among others, has been removed. Reportedly, YouTube blocked the episode in India after government's order.
