Actor Rajkummar Rao, who tied the knot to actress Patralekhaa in 2021 in a traditional Hindu wedding at The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in Chandigarh after dating for 11 years, recently revealed that he once fired his 48-year-old cook—despite the man being a good cook—because the cook had disrespected his wife, Patralekhaa, which Rao found intolerable and felt the need to take a stand against.
In the latest episode of RelationShit Advice, stand-up comedian Raunaq Rajani shared how his cook is a chauvinistic man who disrespects his wife, Henna Mirchandani, and shows no concern for her. However, since the cook prepares 'amazing' food, Rajani does not wish to fire him. Further, Rajkummar, in contrast, reveals how he once fired his own cook for disrespecting his Patralekhaa.
Rajkummar said, "I'll tell you an example from our house, and guys, see the difference. We had a cook, he must’ve been around 48. A great cook! For the first time in my life, I was getting vegetarian Mexican food. Otherwise, it would just be some hari sabzi and rice."

The actor added, "After 2 days, Patraa told me, 'This guy does not talk to me nicely. I think there’s some issue.' And I could figure out. On the third day, when Patra asked him something, he made a face. But with me, he’d talk with a lot of respect. You know what I did? I called him and said, ‘Aap apna bag pack kijiye aur chale jaiye'"
The crowd applauded Rajkummar for taking a stand for Patralekhaa.
