Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma may not often make grand social media gestures, but her recent quiet move is grabbing eyeballs, and not for nothing. The actress liked an emotional post by her sister-in-law Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, who shared a heartfelt tribute to her brother and cricketer Virat Kohli after Royal Challengers Bengaluru's big IPL 2025 win.
The post featured a series of photos of Virat Kohli after RCB vs PBKS match in Ahmedabad, including a touching picture of him with Anushka. But the celebratory mood briefly took a hit when a troll commented under Bhawna's post: "Why he (Kohli) never mention u in any speech or even dnt like ur post. not even Anushka do. lol (sic)."
Not one to let such negativity pass, Bhawna also responded in the comments section with grace. She wrote, "May God give you the patience to understand love can exist in many ways which is not necessarily shown to world but it’s still there like the love for almighty... Hope you have enough love In Your life, no insecurities only true bonds which don’t need any validation. God bless you."

Anushka, who has always maintained a dignified silence around her personal life, didn't respond to the troll directly but her simple 'like' on Bhawna's post spoke volumes.

Bhawna's emotional and heartfelt caption for Kohli read, "This night this moment where we celebrate this dream which made us cry which made us laugh but the wait that you did is far too long each and every second of the moment needs to be experienced with stillness and a strange calmness that it’s actually done 🙏🏻🧿All of us can’t express the humility and thankfulness towards almighty and millions of fans who were right behind RCB through thick and thin this win is everybody’s personal win."
She added, "Your tears were felt in the eyes of everyone who loves you ,we cried with you because you my little Veeru are gods chosen one who brings so much joy and inspiration in everyone ,blessed to witness this and someone in heaven is smiling in his usual smile looking at his son making him proud."
After winning the match, Virat shared a special note for Anushka. Sharing their pictures, he wrote, "I’ve seen it for 18 years and she’s seen it for 11. Suffered the same moments since 2014 and celebrated every close win and the madness of our supporters at the Chinnaswamy. We’re both equally relieved and since she's a Bangalore girl too this is far more special for her. Together all the way through @anushkasharma (sic)."
