With the release of Animal just five days away, the success of it's trailer has proved that the film is one of 2023's most anticipated releases. Soaked in blood, the film offers to tell the tale of a troubled relationship shared between a father and his son, who becomes a dreaded criminal in a bid to win his father's unspoken affection and validation.
The film's team is currently promoting the film in Chennai and it has been learnt that the film will have an 18-minute long interval action block, as per producer Pranay Reddy Vanga, who is director Sandeep's brother.
Confirming the development, leading South film trade analyst Ramesh Bala mentions that the aforementioned sequence has been shot by none other than Supreme Sunder, who has also conceptualised sleek action sequences for Ajith Kumar-starrers Thunivu and the superstar's upcoming release Vidaa Muyarchi.

Based on the glimpses showcased in the teaser and trailer, it's evident that Animal is filled with intense violence and gore. Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of the son, determined to either bring chaos to the town or inflict brutal consequences on anyone who speaks against or harms his father, adds a palpable edge to the narrative of Animal.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal has been mounted as a Pan-Indian release that will release across the globe on December 1st, 2023. The film will witness release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri, the film also promises a solid soundtrack like we were treated to with Vanga's earlier venture Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
