Actor Aamir Khan made a rare public appearance with his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, at the screening of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par in Mumbai on Thursday (June 19). The duo was joined by Aamir's son Azad, whom he shares with ex-wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao.
In a video that has now gone viral on social media, Aamir and Gauri can be seen posing together while holding hands for the first time. The couple looked comfortable and happy as they smiled for the cameras. Azad was also seen posing with them.
Aamir, who first arrived in front of the paps, gestured Gauri to join him. She was quick to come forward and pose for the shutterbugs. While Aamir opted for an ethnic off-white suit, Gauri looked beautiful in a light grey saree.

Aamir's daughter Ira Khan and son-in-law Nupur Shikhare also attended the screening. Besides the actor's family members, several Bollywood celebs also graced the event.
Lead actress Genelia Deshmukh was spotted with actor-husband Riteish Deshmukh at the screening. The star-studded event was also attended by veteran actress Rekha, Jeetendra, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Imran Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tusshar Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Rajkumar Santoshi and others.

After much anticipation and hype, Sitaare Zameen Par is all set to hit the silver screens on June 20. Before the film's release, Aamir has also urged the audience to not indulge in the film's piracy, and has reportedly even hired teams to make sure that the film does not get leaked online, thus making sure that the people have no option but to watch the film in theatres.
Sitaare Zameen Par also stars Genelia and it has been directed by RS Prasanna.
