The much-awaited teaser of Prabhas' The Raja Saab was unveiled by the makers at a grand event in Hyderabad on Monday (June 16). The video has received mixed response from fans and the audience. The film, directed by Maruthi and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, is all set to hit the big screens in December 2025.

The film was initially scheduled to release in April and the producer has revealed why it got delayed.

Opening up about the scale of The Raja Saab, Prasad said, "I don't know how Maruthi managed the schedule. They would start shoot at 6 am and go on till 10 pm or 11 pm. And that went on for 120 days. This was just one schedule. You will see the grandest 40-minute climax coming from those 120 days." He added, "After that, it took the VFX people 300 days to process that. It is something we have not seen before."

The producer attributed the delay in the film’s release to the extensive climax shoot and the heavy reliance on visual effects.

"It took 120 days to shoot, and 300 days of VFX. The VFX was very important. That led to the delay. I know everyone was disappointed. But it was important to deliver the right quality in best manner," he informed media persons during the event.

The Raja Saab, also starring Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Malavika Mohanan, is slated to hit theatres on December 5, 2025. The much-anticipated teaser of the film was unveiled with grand fanfare on Monday.

While the teaser has generated buzz among fans, the response online has been mixed. Some netizens are excited by the film's visuals and star power, praising its mass appeal. Others, however, feel that the teaser lacks originality and doesn't bring anything new to the table.
