Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan completed 10 years of its release on Thursday (July 17, 2025). The film also starred Harshaali Malhotra as the child actor, and her performance as Munni was loved by one and all. Well, Harshaali is now 17 years old, and on Thursday, she took to Instagram to share a video from the sets of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and she wrote a long post about the movie, and the team.
The actress shared, "10 years ago… A film was released that was far more than a story. It was a feeling. A message of love, humanity, and faith that moved millions across the world. I was just a 6-year-old girl when Bajrangi Bhaijaan entered my life. I didn’t speak a word in the film… but I never imagined how much my silence would be heard, how deeply it would be felt. At that age, I didn’t know much ,but I knew Munni. I understood her. And I put my whole soul into bringing her to life."
She further revealed that while shooting the movie, she was a child , curious, playful, but she was also extremely sensitive. The violent scenes in Bajrangi Bhaijaan made her anxious, and she used to cover her ears, hide behind chairs, and sometimes cry because she didn’t understand what was happening.

Harshaali further wrote, "The set of Bajrangi Bhaijaan became my safe space :- Salman sir made me feel protected, like the warmest uncle ever. Kabir sir turned every scene into a story I could feel, not just act. From the spot dadas to the makeup didis, everyone treated me like I was their own. After the film, people called Munni the soul of Bajrangi Bhaijaan… and I still receive messages from all over the world, telling me how deeply she touched their hearts. A decade later, that love hasn’t faded. This post… this reel… this memory is a small thank you for the biggest gift I’ve ever received. To the team who made it all happen. To the audiences who made it eternal. To Munni ,who will always live inside me. Jai Shree Raam."
Harshaali Malhotra In Akhanda 2
Harshaali is now gearing up to make her debut as a female lead in Akhanda 2. The movie stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, and it is slated to release on Dussehra this year. Harshaali's first look poster was unveiled earlier this month.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 On The Cards
There were reports that the work on Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 has started, and writer Vijayendra Prasad has also narrated the concept to Salman. However, it is not yet known whether when the film will be made. But, Salman's fans are excited about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.
