Congress candidate Sowmya Reddy failed to give a tough fight to sitting MP Tejasvi Surya, who recorded BJP's victory at the 2024 LS elections in the Bangalore South constituency. After leading with more than 2.7 lakh votes, Tejasvi Surya recorded the win.

As per the ECI data, BJP has won Bangalore Central (PC Mohan), Bangalore North (Shobha K), and Bangalore Rural (Dr CN Manjunath). Results are awaited for the Bangalore South constituency where Tejasvi Surya is contesting for BJP.

While the ECI data is still rolling, BJP MP from Bangalore South has declared his win on social media. He is seen celebrating his victory on X by expressing gratitude to voters who believed in him, PM Modi, and the saffron party. In Kannada, he wrote, "Heartfelt thanks to the BJP & JDS leaders, my activist friends and all the voters who worked day and night for my victory."

Of the four constituencies Bangalore is divided into, BJP has won in two of the constituencies -- Bangalore Central and Bangalore North. After the initial win of Bangalore Central, BJP candidate from Bangalore North Shobha K recorded her electoral win. With a rewarding margin of 2,59,476 votes, she deafted Congress candidate Prof MV Rajeev Gowda.

BJP candidate PC Mohan won a fourth term in his Bangalore Central constituency. He contested against Mansoor Ali Khan of the Congress with a margin of 32,707 votes.

BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje, who is currently MoS (Agro) and contesting against Congress candidate Prof Gowda is likely to be declared winner of the seat in her Bangalore North constituency. She has been leading the election battle since the vote counting started earlier on June 4. Now, she leads with a margin of more than 2.5 lakh votes.

Of the total 28 seats in Karnataka, the results for 10 are already out. However, the final verdict revealing who wins in Bangalore South, Bangalore North, Bangalore Central And Bangalore Rural is yet to be known. BJP is currently leading in all the four constituencies and is expected to secure its win soon.

Updated ECI data observes BJP leading in all the four constituencies in Bangalore. While an hour ago, the scenario was different, now the data suggests candidates of the PM Modi-led party leading against their opponents. The candidates likely to win are Tejasvi Surya from Bangalore South, Dr CN Manjunath from Bangalore Rural, Shobha Karandlaje from Bangalore North, and even PC Mohan from Bangalore Central.

BJP candidate from Bangalore Central posted amid vote counting on election results day and claimed we would win the seat in his constituency. Sharing a compiled video from his election campaign and prayers, he wrote on X, "Bangalore Central wins yet again!"

Despite him not directly mentioning about his electoral win or the success of his party, his post conveyed people with such a message and made them congratulate him. PC Mohan dropped his X post on Tuesday afternoon, and soon it went viral on the social media platform by attracting congratulatory messages and greetings from more than hundreds of people.

However, the data on the Election Commission of India portal suggested the contrary. The ECI data predicted the Congress candidate fielded against three-term MP PC Mohan's win in the Bangalore Central constituency. Mansoor Ali Khan from the Congress marked the lead, while BJP's PC Mohan, who made a 'win' post, trailed.

Around 3.15 PM on June 4, the ECI data noted the first victory in Karnataka out of the total 28 seats. This was recorded in the Chitradurga constituency where BJP candidate Govinda Makthappa Karjol defeated Congress party's BN Chandrappa by a considerable margin of 48,121 votes. Will the winning streak continue for the saffron party and also hit the four seats in Bangalore? Results are awaited.

Congress MP DK Suresh from Bangalore Rural is struggling to save his seat after constantly trailing against BJP's Dr CN Manjunath. DK Suresh, the brother of DK Shivakumar, had recently went viral for his striking remark about the BJP-led central government diverting all funds from South India to North India. Karnataka's current agriculture minister and BJP candidate Shobha Karandlaje who is contesting from Bangalore North is leading. Prof MV Rajeev Gowda, whom the Congress has fielded against the female candidate, is trailing with a margin of more than a lakh votes.

While other three seats in Bangalore seem tricky for Congress, the party seems likely to record victory in Bangalore Central with a constant lead marked by the party candidate Mansoor Ali Khan.
