VITEEE 2025: Eligibility criteria
- To take the VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination), candidates must be Indian nationals or non-resident Indians (NRIs).
- Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 2001, in order to sit for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE).
- Candidates must be enrolled in the final exam given by any authorised Central or State Board, or they must have completed the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination.
- For regular candidates, the qualifying exam should cover Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- The Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) exam is required of applicants who decide to major in biology.
- The combined scores obtained in the previously mentioned subjects should be at least 60% for PCM/B applicants and 50% for PCB candidates.

- Candidates are required to register with their basic details.
- After registering, a password needs to be made for any further logins.
- Candidates are then required to log in and fill out their personal, academic, and contact details.
- Furthermore, the exam sites need to be selected based on personal preference.
- Online payment of the required application fee must be made with a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- The candidates must affix a scanned copy of their photo and signature in compliance with the official standards.
VITEEE 2025: Exam pattern
Exam Mode: Online (Computer-Based Test)
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Sections & number of questions: There are several parts with different numbers of questions on the VITEEE 2025 test. There are 35 questions in each of the physics and chemistry areas and 40 questions in the mathematics section. There are five questions in the English part and ten in the aptitude section.

Total Number of Questions: 125
Marking Scheme: 1 mark for every correct answer
Negative Marking: No negative marking
