UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2025 Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) written examination 2025. After passing the written examination, 296 candidates are now qualified for the personality test or interview. Candidates who have been shortlisted can check and download their UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main 2025 Result at upsconline.gov.in.
What's Next for Shortlisted Candidates
According to the notification, the commission has made it clear that the candidature of the 296 shortlisted candidates is provisional and subject to compliance with all the eligibility criteria. Candidates must bring their original documents during the Personality Test/Interview phase to verify their eligibility.
To make the verification process easy, UPSC will open the Detailed Application Form (DAF) window on the official website, upsconline.gov.in, from July 29 to August 12, 2025, up to 6:00 PM. The candidates have to:
- Update their academic qualifications, particularly if they had failed to meet the eligibility criteria at the time of application.
- Upload the appropriate documents evidencing their qualifications.
Update as necessary in relation to:
- Correspondence or postal address
- Higher qualifications
- Achievements in diverse fields
- Employment history or experience of service
- Service preferences (where qualified for several positions)
Interview Updates
UPSC will shortly put up the interview schedule on its official website. The candidates will be individually informed about the date and time of the interview. It is not possible under any circumstances to make any changes to the interview date or interview time, as per the notification.
