UPSC CSE Prelims 2025: The Union Public Service Commission has issued the list of rejected candidates who have applied for the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 exam. The Commission has published a list of rejected candidates following the failure to get the Rs 100 application fee from the bank. A total of 43 candidates' applications have been rejected because of non-payment of the fee. Applicants who have registered for the Civil Services Prelims examination can access the application rejection list at upsc.gov.in.
Appeal Process For Rejected Candidates
According to the notification, candidates who wish to appeal against their rejection may do so within 10 days. The appeal must be submitted along with the following documents (in original hard copy):
- System-generated challan, or
- Copy of the debit/credit card statement, or
- Bank account statement (as applicable).
The appeal should be sent via speed post or delivered by hand to the following address: Smt. Kiran K. Arora, Under Secretary (CSP), Union Public Service Commission, Examination Hal Building, Hall No.2, 4th Floor, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi- 110069.
Last Date For Appeal Submission
The appeal for rejections must be received by the Commission's office by March 17, 2025. If valid documentary evidence is submitted on or before the deadline, the application will not be considered for revival.
UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2025: Exam Pattern
Two Stages of Examination:
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
Preliminary Examination:
- Comprises two papers, each carrying 200 marks (Total: 400 marks)
- Objective type (MCQs)
- Duration: 2 hours per paper
- General Studies Paper-2 is qualifying, with a minimum of 33 per cent required
- Negative marking: 1/3rd of the marks deducted for each incorrect answer
Mains Examination:
- Includes a written test and an interview
