Date for Requesting Scribe Change
Aspirants who want to change their scribe for the Prelims 2025 need to make a request along with full scribe information to the official email id uscsp-upsc@nic.in by 4 PM on May 18, 2025. The Commission has made it very clear that only on-time requests made to the concerned email would be received.

Strict Adherence to Submission Guidelines
The UPSC has clearly stated that applications made to any other email ID or beyond the deadline will be rejected. The candidates are requested to abide by the guidelines exactly in order to not be disqualified or face logistical problems during the exam.
Schedule of Exam
The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 is expected to be held on May 25, 2025, and will take place in two shifts:
Morning Shift – Paper 1 (General Studies)
Afternoon Shift – Paper 2 (CSAT)
The UPSC Mains Exam 2025 will tentatively start from August 22, 2025, but candidates should follow the UPSC website for information, as the dates may change.
