The written test schedule for the Sub Inspector (Civil Police/Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer, and Platoon Commander, Male (PAC/IRB) test-2024 (Under The Home Department) has been made public by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). The goal of the hiring campaign is to cover 222 open positions.

According to the announcement, the test will take place on January 12, 2025, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Beginning on January 2, the hall passes will be made available.

Step 1: Go to psc.uk.gov.in, the official website.
Step 2: Click on the link for the SI and other posts' 2024 admit card on the webpage.
Step 3: Enter your login information and hit "Submit."
Step 4: Examine and obtain the admission card.
Step 5: Print off a copy for your records.

Vacancies

The UKPSC SI 2024 vacancies are a total of 222 posts, divided into four categories:

- Sub Inspector Civil Police: 65 posts

- Sub Inspector Intelligence: 43 posts

- Fire Station Second Officer: 25 posts

- Platoon Commander (Gulmnayak): 89 posts

These vacancies are further categorized based on reservation, with specific numbers allocated for General, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS candidates.

Screening process

The selection process for the UKPSC SI 2024 recruitment involves a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) to assess physical standards, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to evaluate physical fitness. Candidates who clear the PET will appear for a Written Examination consisting of two papers, and those who qualify will undergo Document Verification to verify their educational and personal documents. Finally, candidates who clear the document verification stage will undergo a Medical Examination to assess their physical fitness, and the final merit list will be prepared based on their performance in the written examination.
