UGC NET June 2025: How to apply for this exam?

Aspirants may register for the UGC NET June 2025 by following the processes outlined below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “UGC-NET June-2025: Click Here to Register/Login” link available on the home page.

Step 3: Next, enter the credentials to register and then log in.

Step 4: Now, fill out the application form, make the payment, and submit it.

Step 5: Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for future reference.

UGC NET June 2025: Application fees

The application charges for various categories are as follows:

1. ₹1150 for unreserved applicants

2. ₹600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL

3. ₹325 for ST/SC and third-gender applicants.

4. The cost of the application can be paid using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

UGC NET June 2025 exam pattern

1. It should be noted that the UGC NET June 2025 test will only be held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) modality. The exam will be divided into two sections, each with objective-type, multiple-choice questions.

2. Paper 1 will have 50 questions and a total of 100 marks. Paper 2 will comprise 100 questions for 200 points. The evaluation lasts three hours.

3. Each question gets two points. The applicant will receive two marks for each right response. There is no negative marking for wrong responses. Furthermore, no points will be awarded for questions that are unanswered, unattempted, or marked for review.
