TN 12th Supplementary Result 2025: Passing criteria

To pass the Tamil Nadu 12th Supplementary Exam 2025, students must score a minimum of 35 marks in each subject for theory-only papers. For subjects that include practical components, the breakup is as follows: 70 marks for theory, 20 marks for practicals, and 10 marks for internal assessment. In such cases, students must secure at least 15 marks in the theory exam and a total of 35 marks overall. While there is no minimum mark required in the practical exam, attendance is mandatory to be considered pass.

Students who are dissatisfied with their performance. They can seek a reassessment. The revaluation fees are listed below.

The Tamil Nadu 12th supplemental exam 2025 was administered by the TN board between June 25 and July 2, 2025. Out of 7,92,494 individuals who took the Tamil Nadu HSC exam in 2025, 7,53,142 have passed the test. 95.03% of students passed the Tamil Nadu 12th grade exam in 2025. On July 26, 2024, the Tamil Nadu 12th Supplementary Result 2024 was released.
