SSC GD Constable Result 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the SSC GD Constable 2025 merit list in PDF format. The merit list contains the names, ranks, and roll numbers of those shortlisted candidates for the next phase of the recruitment process — the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
Minimum Cut-Off Marks (Category-Wise)
Applicants have been shortlisted against the following minimum cut-off marks, minus any bonus marks for NCC certificate holders:
- Unreserved (UR): 30%
- OBC / EWS: 25%
- SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 20%
What's Next in the Selection Process?
Applicants who have passed the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will now move on to the PET/PST stage, which is a qualifying process.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Aims to test the physical endurance of candidates.
- Consists of a running test, with varying distance/time standards for male and female candidates.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Tests height, weight, and chest (for male candidates) according to SSC's standard eligibility criteria.
- Candidates are required to fulfill the specified physical parameters in order to proceed.
After PET/PST, selected candidates will be shortlisted for a thorough medical test to determine overall fitness for final selection.
