School Closed: West Bengal and Telangana schools will be closed for the next several days due to festivals and state vacations. West Bengal Schools Closed
The West Bengal government has scheduled a two-day holiday for all state-run workplaces, schools, and institutions on February 13 and 14, 2025. This is to commemorate Shab-e-Barat on February 13 and Panchanan Barma Jayanti on February 14. At first, the government scheduled only February 14 as a vacation for Shab-e-Barat, but after ascertaining that the event happens on February 13, the break was extended to encompass both dates.
Telangana Schools Closed
Telangana's schools will be shut from February 14 to 16. The state administration established an optional holiday on February 14 to commemorate Shab-e-Barat, an important Islamic festival known as the "Night of Forgiveness." Though not a mandated holiday, many schools and institutions in Hyderabad and adjoining regions are scheduled to close to allow communities to commemorate the anniversary.
Furthermore, February 15 has been recognized as a government holiday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sant Sewalal Maharaj. Following that, many schools will observe a weekend vacation on February 16, providing pupils with a three-day break from academic activity.
Prayagraj School Closed
The District Basic Education Officer has declared a school holiday for primary and recognized schools. As per official information, the school will be closed from February 13 and February 15, 2025, for classes 1 to 8 only in urban and rural areas. During this time, online classes will be conducted.
The Basic Education Officer stated that during this time, all instructors will be available at school on time and will finish the DBT, Apaar ID generation, Aadhar seeding, and other departmental taxes.
