SBI Clerk recruitment 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Wednesday started the application process for the SBI Clerk recruitment 2025 in the Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) cadre. The last date to apply will be August 26, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at sbi.co.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 5,180 regular and 1,409 backlog vacancies in the organisation. Before filling out the application form, candidates are advised to read the official SBI Clerk Recruitment 2025 notification.

Eligibility Criteria

To become eligible for the recruitment of SBI Clerk 2025, applicants should have a graduation degree from any discipline in a recognized university, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Students who are pursuing an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) course must ensure that their result is declared on or before December 31, 2025. Final-semester or final-year students can apply provisionally if they are able to provide valid documents of graduation by the said date.

By age, the candidates should be between 20 years and 28 years as of April 1, 2025. That means only candidates born between April 2, 1997, and April 1, 2005 (inclusive) can apply. Relaxation of age will be permitted for reserved category candidates according to government norms.

Exam Dates

The SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination is likely to take place in September 2025, and the Main Examination in November 2025. The final dates for both phases will be announced through proper notifications in due course.

Application Fees

Regarding the application fee, the applicants who fall in the General, OBC, and EWS categories have to pay ₹750. Candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, and other reserved groups do not have to pay the application fee.

Selection Process

The selection process of SBI Clerk 2025 consists of three major stages: a Preliminary Examination, a Main Examination, and a test in the local language opted for. Candidates have to pass in each stage in order to go to the next.

Phase I – Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Exam is taken online and is objective in nature. The test is worth a total of 100 marks and has a time limit of 1 hour. The test consists of three sections, each with a different time duration:

-English Language:

Number of Questions: 30

Maximum Marks: 30

Time Limit: 20 minutes

Language: English only

-Numerical Ability:

Number of Questions: 35

Maximum Marks: 35

Time Limit: 20 minutes

Medium: Available in English and regional languages

-Reasoning Ability:

Number of Questions: 35

Maximum Marks: 35

Time Allotted: 20 minutes

Medium: Available in English and regional languages
