RRB Technician Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) began accepting applications for the Technician Grade-I Signal and many Technician Grade-III recruitment 2025 categories on Saturday, June 28, 2025. The last date to fill out the application form will be July 28, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for RRB Technician Recruitment 2025 online at rrbapply.gov.in.
Vacancy Details
As many as 6,238 vacancies for technicians have been notified. Of these, 183 are for Technician Grade-I (Signal), which is at Level-5 of the pay matrix, and the remaining 6,055 are for Technician Grade-III, which is classified under Level-2.

Application Fees
In order to apply, the cost of an application fee of Rs 500 has to be paid by all candidates. However, candidates appearing for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be refunded Rs 400, deducting bank charges, if applicable. For reserved category candidates such as SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), women, transgender, minorities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC)—the application fee is decreased to Rs 250. The Railway Recruitment Board states that this cost will also be reimbursed upon CBT appearance, once bank fees have been deducted.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the position of Technician Grade-I (Signal), applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Science with specialisation in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation. Or, applicants with a BE/B.Tech degree or a three-year diploma in engineering in the relevant field are also eligible.
For the Technician Grade-III, the minimum qualification is a Class 10 pass with an ITI certificate in the concerned trade. Yet, for some of the posts under Technician Grade-III (S&T), candidates with Class 12 passes having Physics and Mathematics are also eligible to apply.
