RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: The registration process for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 is set to begin today, April 12, 2025, by the Railway Recruitment Board. The deadline to apply will be May 11, 2025. The Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment window is open to interested and eligible applicants online at rrbapply.gov.in.
This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 9970 vacant seats in the organisation. Candidates are advised to read the RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 notification before filling out the application form.
According to the schedule, the application fee payment last date for submitted applications will be May 13, 2025. The application correction window will be available from May 14 to May 23, 2025.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Applicants should have passed Class 10 and hold an ITI certificate in the concerned trade. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and a three-year engineering diploma are also qualified. Moreover, applicants possessing a graduate degree in engineering (in the concerned field) are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Candidates applying for the position of Assistant Loco Pilot in Railways should be between 18 and 30 years old as on July 1, 2025.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Exam Patten
The Preliminary Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) will have 75 questions to be answered within one hour, whereas the Main Exam (CBT 2) will be taken in two parts—Part A consisting of 100 questions for 90 minutes, and Part B consisting of 75 trade-specific questions for 60 minutes—where one-third marks would be deducted for every wrong answer in both CBT 1 and CBT 2.
