Punjab PCS 2025: Exam pattern

There will be two papers for the Punjab PCS Prelims Exam 2025, and they will both be given on the same day. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions about General Studies on Paper 1 and 80 questions from the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) on Paper 2. There will be 200 marks for each paper, and it will take 2 hours to complete each one.

The exam will not have any negative marking, which is very important. The CSAT examination is a qualifying exam, and applicants need to get at least 40% of the marks to pass. The marks from the Prelims, on the other hand, won't be used for the final merit list because they are solely for the Mains stage.
