CUET UG 2025 New Website: The National Testing Agency has created a new website for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Undergraduate or CUET UG 2025. Now, the agency will plan to start the CUET UG 2025 registration process very soon for the candidates who are willing to be admission to different undergraduate programmes offered by participating central and other universities.
Earlier, the CUET UG website was cuet.samarth.ac.in but now it has changed to cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can find all the information related to CUET UG 2025 such as the Information bulletin, application forms, admit cards, and results on the new website - cuet.nta.nic.in. The official authorities will soon issue the CUET UG 2025 timetable for admission to central, state, private and deemed universities throughout India.

CUET UG 2025 New Website: What are the major changes made this year?
Besides launching a new website this year, here are some major changes made to the exam pattern:
1. According to University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairperson M Jagadesh Kumar, the CUET-UG would be a computer-based test (CBT) and students will be able to sit for subjects other than those covered in Class 12.
2. The UGC also declared that the number of topics will be cut from 63 to 37, with admissions to programs in discontinued subjects based on the General Aptitude Test (GAT) results.

3. Rather than having separate examinations for 33 languages, only 13 would be offered including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
4. The domain-specific subjects were decreased from 29 to 23. Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, and Engineering Graphics have been discontinued as domain-specific papers.
5. He also stated that the exam time has been regulated to 60 minutes for all papers, as has the amount of questions. The idea of optional questions in the exam has also been eliminated, and all questions will now be mandatory, Kumar noted.
CUET UG 2024: Last year's statistics
The NTA administered the CUET UG 2024 test in pen and paper format on May 15, 16, 17, and 18, and online mode on May 21, 22, 24, and 29, respectively. A retest was conducted on July 19, 2024. A total of 13,47,820 applicants enrolled for the test, with 11,13,610 appearing. The results were announced on July 28.
