Gorakhpur: It is the responsibility of every institution to ensure no student drops out for want of money, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said.

His remarks were meant for the heads of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad (MPSP) who were gathered in Gorakhpur for a meeting addressed by Adityanath.

"Just like in life, institutions too must not function in a perfunctory manner. Each must have a clear mission," he said.

He said MPSP is more than a school or a college or a hospital.

"Its core mission is to contribute to social development and nation-building through education, healthcare, and service," he said.

"Keep pace with changing times. Embrace new technologies that serve the interest of students and the institution," he said to teachers.

In view of the centenary of Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad (MPSP) in 2032, Adityanath urged the heads to begin preparations for a grand celebration.

Parishad, founded in 1932 to revive education and uphold national values in eastern Uttar Pradesh, has upheld the visionary legacy of Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj, he said.

"By 2032, we must establish MPSP institutions as a national model," Adityanath said.
