MPPSC Recruitment 2025: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced 67 Food Safety Officer (FSO) positions in the state’s Public Health and Medical Education Department. MPPSC FSO Recruitment 2025: Salary details
Applicants would get a monthly salary between ₹36,200 and ₹1,14,800, plus any state government allowances. Reservation benefits are available to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD applicants, with a ₹250 registration fee (others ₹500).
MPPSC FSO Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the FSO recruiting examination, aspirants must meet the following qualification criteria:
1. Age limit: Aspirants must be between 21 and 40 years old as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be granted to applicants belonging to restricted categories such as SC/ST/Other Backwards Classes (non-creamy layer), Women (MP domicile), and PwD by the Madhya Pradesh government guidelines.
2. Education qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in one of the following recognised areas: Food Technology / Food Processing / Food Engineering, Dairy Technology / Biotechnology, Oil Technology / Agricultural Science / Veterinary Science, and Biochemistry / Microbiology / Chemistry / Medicine.
Degrees must be obtained from a recognised university or institution and verified by a competent authority, such as the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) or an equivalent.
