MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the window for filling choices for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling today, August 4, at 11:59 PM. Candidates registered under the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling process can fill and submit their choices on the website, mcc.nic.in, till the specified end date. The choice lock facility will also be enabled today at 4 PM and will be open until 11:59 PM so that the candidates can complete and lock their choices.
The Round 1 registration closed on August 3 at 1 PM, completing the first step of the counselling procedure. After the choice filling and choice locking process, MCC will start making allotments on August 5, and the results for Round 1 allotment are to be announced on August 6.
After the results are announced, those candidates who are seat-allotted will have to report to their respective colleges between August 7 and 11. They will have to finish all admission formalities such as document verification and payment of fees to ensure their seat.
The MCC NEET UG 2025 counselling is being conducted for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS and BDS seats, including those of participating states and deemed universities. It also includes the seats of central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, and other affiliated institutions. The Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir will participate only if it puts its seats in the pool of AIQ.
This year's NEET UG counselling has three rounds and a Stray Vacancy Round for vacant seats. With over 400 government medical colleges, 32 private colleges, 13 government society colleges, 44 society colleges, and over 250 trust medical colleges participating, it is one of India's largest centralized medical admission drives.
