MCC NEET UG Round 1 Counselling Registration: The registration date for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) has been extended by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Applicants can visit mcc.nic.in to view the official announcement.
The move follows complaints about delays in getting disability certificates from centres designated for the purpose. The deadline was initially set to July 31, 2025, but will now remain open until August 3, 2025, at 1 PM. The deadline for candidates to pay their fees is 4 PM on the day. The option filling window will remain open till August 3 at 11:59 PM, even if choice locking has been set for that day between 6 PM and 11:55 PM.
Results for Round 1 allotment will be announced on August 6, and the NEET UG 2025 seat allocation process will take place from August 4 to August 5. Candidates will lose their allocation if they do not report to the colleges between August 7 and August 11.
This counselling session is for some of the most important areas, such as the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in medical and dental institutions, seats in 17 AIIMS centres—providing around 2,000 MBBS seats and 507 BSc Nursing seats in nine AIIMS centres—and almost 14,000 MBBS seats in deemed universities all over the nation.
