The process of selection involves multiple stages: a Preliminary Examination, the Mains Examination, a Physical Test (which is only for specific posts such as PSI), and an Interview. The preliminary examination is a screening round, and those who clear it are required to apply separately for the mains exam within the defined time frame. It should be noted that only those who are registering for the mains and have paid the examination fee will be allowed to appear for the subsequent stage.

In addition, the claims and category information provided at the initial application stage will be treated as final for the mains exam. No additions or new claims would be accepted during the mains process. Hence, candidates are requested to thoroughly go through their application details before final submission.
