Maharashtra FYJC 2025 Admissions: Maharashtra state government's entirely online admission process for First Year Junior College (FYJC) has been witnessed with high participation, with over 7.2 lakh students having confirmed admissions in the first two rounds. Candidates can check the details at mahafyjcadmissions.in.
As per the data, 7,20,666 students have got seats in 9,483 junior colleges of the state that collectively provide 21,37,550 seats. As many as 14,19,813 students had applied for admissions in FYJC in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
In the first round, 5,07,288 students confirmed their admission. The second round of allotments, including both CAP and quota-based admissions, was released on July 17, 2025, and by the final date of this round, July 21, an additional 2,15,157 students had completed the admission process. This includes 1,74,308 students through CAP and 40,849 under various quotas, such as management, in-house, and minority quotas.
Third Round Admission Schedule
The third phase of FYJC admissions has already started. Students were able to register from July 19 to July 21, whereas new candidates can submit Part-1 of the admission form from July 22 to July 23. Candidates given allotment in this phase will need to accept the admission from July 26 to July 28.

According to the recent updates, the window of registration and correction for CAP Round 3 FYJC admissions will remain open from July 22, 2025 at 10 AM to July 23, 2025 at 6:30 PM. At this time, new admissions can register, correct Part-1 of the application form, and fill out Part-2, which involves college preference selection. There is the option for students to select a minimum of one and maximum ten junior colleges as their options. Candidates who did not receive an allotment in CAP Round 2 will also have the choice of changing their stream and college order while applying for Round 3.
The Education Department has directed all students to verify their names in the merit lists of their respective colleges and finalise the admission within the specified deadlines.
