Lucknow: A case has been registered against a teacher in Itaunja police station area of Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow for allegedly beating up a student, due to which the student's eardrum burst. The incident took place at Mateshwari Vidya Inter College.
According to the Hindi news portals, the teacher slapped the student repeatedly on both his ears and banged his head against the wall. This led to bleeding from the student's ears and severe pain in his head and ears.
By the time he reached home, the pain had become unbearable. The family rushed him to the nearest doctor.
The student's eardrum was ruptured. The doctor immediately started treatment, but the injury was serious.
Mangament Refuses To Take Action
When the victim student complained to the school's management, they refused to take any action. The management told the student to go home and get the medicine and said that no action will be taken against the teacher. According to the student's family, when the student's father Santosh Yadav reached the school with a complaint, the school management not only behaved indecently but also threatened him. The management said that if any legal action is taken, they will ruin the child's future.
The victim's family has given a written complaint about the incident at Itaunja police station. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. Police have said that appropriate legal action will be taken considering the seriousness of the case. The family has demanded that strict action be taken against the accused teacher.
