The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the application window for Class 6 admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) tomorrow, July 29, 2025. Registration for the JNV Selection Test can be filed through the official website: cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs. Currently, there are 654 JNVs across 27 states and eight Union Territories (UTs).
Age limit: An applicant for JNV admission must have been born between May 1, 2014, and July 31, 2014 (inclusive).
JNVST 2025: Exam details
The JNVST 2025 exam paper will be divided into three parts: Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test, and Language Test, each with 80 objective-type questions worth 100 marks. The test should be completed in 120 minutes.
JNVST 2025: Exam centres
The entrance exam will be administered in two phases. The first part will be held on Saturday, December 13th.
The first phase will take place in the following states:

2. Assam
3. Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley & Tawang Districts)
4. Bihar
5. Chhattisgarh
6. Goa
7. Gujarat
8. Haryana
9. Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti, Solan and Shimla Districts)
10. Jammu & Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba, and Udhampur)
11. Jharkhand
12. Kerala
13. Karnataka
14. Madhya Pradesh
15. Maharashtra
16. Manipur
The second phase will take place on Saturday, April 11, in the states mentioned below:
1. Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba, and Udhampur)
2. Meghalaya
3. Mizoram
4. Nagaland
5. Sikkim
6. Districts of Dibang Valley and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh
7. Chamba
8. Kinnaur
9. Mandi
10. Sirmour
11. Kullu
12. Lahaul & Spiti, Solan, and Shimla in Himachal Pradesh
13. Darjeeling in West Bengal

JNVST 2025: Documents required
