JEE Advanced 2025: The JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow, May 18, 2025. Here, candidates can check the JEE Advanced 2025 important exam day guidelines, what to carry and what not to carry on exam day and other important details.

The JEE Advanced 2025 will be conducted in two sessions including paper 1 will be held in the morning session and paper 2 will be conducted in the afternoon session. Candidates must bring their JEE Advanced 2025 admit card along with valid ID proof. Candidates who fail to bring their JEE Advanced 2025 hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

JEE Advanced 2025: Guidelines to be Followed on Exam Day

Since the exam is approaching, here are the most important instructions and dress code norms that candidates need to follow to ensure no problems arise on exam day:

Dress Code Instructions

Candidates should strictly follow the dress code:

- Avoid wearing charms, taweez, or any metal/religious accessories.

- Don't wear any metal-containing items such as:

Rings

Bracelets

Earrings or nose pins

Chains, pendants, badges, or brooches

Clothes with big buttons

- Opt for open shoes such as chappals or sandals—closed shoes are not advised.

Exam Day Do's

- Carry a printed copy of the JEE Advanced 2025 admit card and a valid photo identity (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, etc.).

- Report early to the exam centre—preferably an hour earlier than scheduled.

- Keep simple, comfortable clothing without any metallic accessories to ensure timely frisking.

- Bring only allowed stationery, including:

Pens and pencils

Erasers

Transparent water bottles

- Read all instructions available at the centre and on the question paper carefully.

Exam Day Don'ts

- Do not bring along any electronic devices, including:

Mobile phones

Smartwatches

Calculators

Earphones or Bluetooth devices

- No bags, books, notes, or any study material to be brought into the exam hall.

- No malpractice or cheating—severe disciplinary action will be initiated for breaches.

- Do not wear jackets, caps, sunglasses inside the exam hall (except for medical reasons or with permission).
