IPMAT Rohtak 2025 Exam Analysis: For IIM Rohtak, the National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully administered the Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (IPMAT) 2025 on May 5, 2025. The test, the major gateway to IIM Rohtak's elite five-year Integrated Programme in Management, was administered between 9 AM and 11 AM in computer-based mode at 28 cities across the country.
120 questions were posed, an even number segmented into three components: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. Four marks were allocated for each right choice, and one mark deducted for each wrong attempt. Of significance, there was no time limit provided per segment, affording candidates latitude to control time.
Karan Mehta, Toprankers Co-Founder, presented an analysis of the exam:
The overall level of difficulty as "easy to moderate" and leaning more towards the easy side. Quantitative Ability section was the easiest, Logical Reasoning easy to moderate, and Verbal Ability moderately tough.
IPMAT Rohtak 2025 Exam Analysis: Student reactions
Students' early feedback was that the paper was very accessible. Most said they had tried over 90 questions with confidence. Not having an on-screen calculator did not appear to impede performance, and students enjoyed being able to work at their own pace because there were no sectional time limits. Surprisingly, overlaps in subjects were seen between Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability, and a calendar-based question from the 2024 examination reappeared—beneficial for those preparing with SuperGrads' mock tests and previous year papers.
