The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) has invited the top 200 rankers of the JEE Advanced 2025 exam for a visit to its campus. According to India Today, the initiative includes round-trip airfare for each student and one accompanying parent.

The visit will be held after the JEE Advanced results are declared. Meetings with students and alumni, lab visits, campus tours, and interactions with instructors will all be part of it.

"We want these students to see the academic structure of IIT Madras and the available support systems," said an IIT Madras official, as quoted by India Today. "The idea is to help them make an informed decision before choosing their institute and course."

In earlier years, IITs approached top performers through outreach, alumni connections, and counselling sessions. This year, IIT Madras has provided airfare for both the student and one parent.

During their campus visit, students will see research centres, labs, and startup cells. There will be sessions on collaborations with institutions abroad and available student programmes.

Parents will be able to attend sessions with faculty and staff to understand campus systems and procedures.

Through this visit, IIT Madras is offering an early view of campus activities and infrastructure to students before they finalise their choices during counselling.
