The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has started the registration for the Common Admission Test today, August 1. Applicants can submit their applications for the exam starting today at 10 a.m. on the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in.

How to register for CAT 2025?
Candidates need to follow steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: Now, candidates need to register as a new user by using the details such as name, email ID, mobile number, and DOB.
Step 3: After this, verify with the OTP and then receive login credentials.
Step 4: Next, fill out the application details such as personal, academic and work details, and then select preferred IIM programs and six test cities.
Step 5: Upload the necessary documents, make the payment, and then submit.
Step 6: Download the page and take a printout of the same for further reference.
IIM CAT 2025: Registration fees
SC, ST, and PwD candidates must pay ₹1,300 to register for CAT 2025, while all other applicants must pay ₹2,600.
CAT 2025: Exam details
On November 30, 2025 (Sunday), the entrance test will be administered in three sessions via computer-based testing (CBT). There will be the CAT 2025 in about 170 cities. Aspirants will be given the option of selecting five favourite cities.
IIM CAT 2025: Correction window
After the registration window concludes, applicants will receive a short edit window in which they can edit the fields in the application form, such as photograph, signature, and test city preferences.
CAT 2025: Exam pattern
CAT 2025 is scheduled to run for 120 minutes. The following three phases will be covered in the test: Verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, and quantitative ability.
Aspirants will have 40 minutes to answer questions in each area, and they will not be able to go to another section while completing questions in one.
What is CAT 2025?
The CAT 2025 is for admission to postgraduate and fellow/doctoral programs provided by IIMs and other partner universities. Nevertheless, it is only one of the admission criteria; applicants must also participate in different rounds, which will be announced on the institute's websites in due course.
