Marking scheme:

The GATE 2025 exam consists of 65 questions on each test paper, with a maximum score of 100. The exam's General Aptitude (GA) component receives 15 points out of 100, distributed equally among all test papers. The subject-specific content is graded on a scale of 85 to 100. In most exams (AE, AG, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, ES, GE, IN, ME, MN, MT, NM, PE, PI, and TF), engineering mathematics is worth 13 marks.

On the XE paper, the required section XE-A (Engineering Mathematics) is worth fifteen points. The subject component of the other papers (AR, CY, DA, EY, GG, MA, PH, ST, XH, and XL) is worth 85 points.

On March 19, 2025, IIT Roorkee will declare the GATE 2025 results following the release of the final solution key. Using their enrolment ID and password, candidates can obtain the scorecard and view their results on the official website.
