Beed: Former Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde on Monday said a Special Investigation Team (SIT) should probe the Beed coaching class sexual harassment case.
Talking to reporters here, Munde also alleged that one of the two persons arrested in the case had links with NCP (SP) MLA Sandip Kshirsagar. The latter denied the allegations.
About The Case
On Thursday, two teachers of the coaching centre, located in Umakiran complex in Beed, were booked by police for allegedly molesting and sexually harassing a 17-year-old female student between July last year to May this year.

The two were later arrested remanded to police custody till July 1.
As per the girl's complaint, the two teachers used to call her to the office of the coaching centre, force her to strip and would then indulge in obscene acts with her.
Munde met the victim's family on Monday. He claimed that on the day the offence was registered, the accused was with Kshirsagar till late night.
"Their connection should be investigated," said Munde, who resigned from the state cabinet in March, days after his close aide Walmik Karad was named as the mastermind in the Beed sarpanch murder case.
"As many as 5,000 students study in the coaching classes here. Many were harassed so much that they left the classes because of these two teachers and the one who gave them 'political refuge', Munde said.
